Welcome

First, I would like to say that I am deeply honored to have been chosen as Senate majority leader. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all of of the support and encouragement I have been receiving, and will continue to keep fighting for the hardworking people of Senate District 11 and all of Colorado.

I ran for public office because I was tired of the efforts of our government.  I believe that if you find a problem and complain about it then you ought to be willing to solve it.

Concerning our government, I found myself complaining, so I needed to be willing to step up and do something about it.  I did, and I was honored that the people of the 11th Senate District in Colorado elected me to represent them in Denver.  I took that election as a personal mandate to solve problems, not to engage in partisan bickering.
